TRAIL RIDING

* Horsehaven does not offer trail riding to the general public, only to current students enrolled in our lesson program. *

We are not a show barn – in other words we do not plan on attending shows on a regular basis (although we will certainly assist clients who so wish).  We do however excel at ensuring that our clients have immense fun on horseback, by being both a trail riding and fox hunting barn and our facilities reflect our unique needs to do this.

Horsehaven offers trail riding to either our boarders or students enrolled in our riding lesson program.  We spend the warm weather months roaming the trails of several of the nearby metro parks or the 29 acres of private wooded land at the back of the property.

There are nearly 82 miles of dedicated public horse trails in the Cleveland area.  The nearby 2262 acre Hinckley Reservation of the Cleveland Metroparks is part of this network with many prepared bridle trails of varying challenges and containing dedicated equestrian amenities.  This reservation is only just a very short drive down the road and as such is a very popular and frequented destination for the riders of Horsehaven Stables.

You can see a map showing the bridle paths and all the other facilities offered at the Hinckley Reservation by clicking on the following link:

Solange is also a member of the Chagrin Valley Trail & Riding club and as such is able to take her clients on the large network of limited access private trails in the Chagrin Valley area.
