Lessons with Solange are a fun and educating experience. Our students learn proper ground handling and how to saddle and bridle their lesson horse. All students begin in a Western saddle and are provided the opportunity and encouraged to advance to an English saddle.
Our goal is to provide students with a classical riding education with safety always first and foremost. We are a non-showing barn and concentrate on trail-riding and fox hunting for our clients.
Lesson Highlights- Our lesson program is fully insured.
- All lessons are 1 hour and private at $30. per hour.

Here at Horsehaven Stables we require everyone to wear an approved equestrian riding helmet. For all new students we will provide one until they purchase their own. To fully understand what it means to wear an ASTM/SEI approved helmet click here for more information.
One of our favorite lesson horses, Monkey, has been a part of the Horsehaven family for some time. Monkey is no longer with us but we wanted to dedicate a small tribute to this great horse. Find out more about Monkey here.
